Item Description
AFA graded and encapsulated case contains double-sided 18x20.25" bell-shaped cardboard hanging sign featuring Kenner's first 20 Star Wars action figures, w/larger "(Actual Size)" image of Boba Fett shown at center. Sign notes "Special Limited Time Offer! Get A Free Boba Fett Action Figure!" w/details noting "When You Buy Any Four Star Wars Action Figures. Mail-In Offer - Details On Package." Bottom of display has "Collect All 21 Action Figures!" text. Top of sign features Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia portion from Star Wars movie poster by The Brothers Hildebrandt. Comes w/18.25x33.5x1.5" deep original cardboard shipping carton w/printed "Star Wars Boba Fett Mobile/Hang Promotion And 8 Shelf Cards" text as well as Kenner logo and address. Inkstamp recipient name/address, noting this display was for a Kroger store in Cincinnati, OH. Carton has been opened and shows wear at ends, w/notable creases. Fine overall. Carton contains 18.25x21" cardboard sleeve, printed set-up instructions for mobile/hanging display, wire stanchion and mounting hardware for set-up in brown paper bag and unused Kenner questionnaire card. The "8 Shelf Cards" mentioned on carton are not present. Sleeve has penciled notation on one side w/a few small dent/punctures on opposite side. Fine/VF. Rest of contents have varying degrees of lt. aging and are Fine to VF overall. AFA case has .25" imperfection to case at bottom left and .25x.5" imperfection to case at bottom right; sold as is. The bell hanger display itself is hard to come by, especially in high grade such as the example offered here; but to find a near complete display such as this is incredibly rare. None higher according to current AFA Population Report. Due to size and/or weight of this item, shipping charges may be substantial.
