Item Description
14.5x23" thin art board pair contains original art for issue #49 (December 1949) of Boy Comics for the story "The Habitual Liar" with pencil and ink art by Norman Maurer. Story by Charles Biro. Lev Gleason Publications. Story about C.B. dealing with Julius Andrews and what happens when nobody believes his one and only truth. Pages feature Crimebuster (Chuck Chandler) and his monkey Squeeks and Professor Higgins. Story pages are 12 and 21. Moderate aging/wear on all pages. Age toning to paper. Lt. border soiling. A few type paste-ups. Page 12 oddly has stats on all of C.B.s face images. Overall Golden Age large art pages still display as VG to Fine.
