Item Description
14.25x20.75" artboard has pen and ink original art for page 2 of Felix The Cat #6, published by Dell, Dec. 1948 - Jan. 1949. Art is by Felix co-creator and longtime artist Otto Messmer (1892- 1983) w/inks by Joe Oriolo (1913-1985). Page features eight panels, featuring Felix going to clock shop to purchase a used clock that he then proceeds to repair. Felix appears in every panel. Art has inked title and issue/page numbers at lower left w/some scattered editorial notations at margins. Artboard has some lt. margin aging and dust soiling, but art remains clean and Exc.
