Item Description
11x17-1/8" Marvel Comics artboard features pen and ink original art for page 38 of The Amazing Spider-Man: Soul Of The Hunter #1, published by Marvel Aug. 1992. Art is by Mike Zeck w/inks by Bob McLeod. Published as a follow-up one-shot to the "Kraven's Last Hunt" story arc, w/that story arc's creative team of J.M. DeMatteis, Zeck and McLeod returning. Pages features eight panels, showing Spider-Man being pulled into an open grave by the reanimated corpse of Kraven the Hunter as the spirits of suicides fly about, causing him to reflect on his life, showing panels of Peter Parker w/Uncle Ben and Gwen Stacy. Spider-Man appears in five panels, plus two additional panels of Peter Parker. Top margin has penciled page number and right margin has some blue pencil editorial notations. Bottom margin has been signed in black felt tip pen by Mike Zeck. Artboard has staple hole at top left corner and pin hole at top right corner. Scattered tiny age spotting. VF overall.
