Item Description
15x20" run of the first 20 large original art pages for the unfinished and unpublished first Fantastic Four graphic novel. c. 1990 Marvel. Written by Danny Fingeroth and drawn by Mark Bright (and later Al Milgrom), this project took place during comics' boom period. Al Milgrom was called in to take over when Bright couldn't continue as artist. The book was announced in Marvel Age Annual #4. The story was not just about Reed Richards and Franklin and Mad Thinker and Quasimodo, but also about the Vision and his twin sons (plus Ben Grimm and the fact that he had no children). This story was put on the back burner and lost in the Marvel archives. Story is not complete and no indication on how many pages were planned. Art contains the whole Fantastic Four team, Vision, Scarlet Witch and Quasimodo. Pages have lt. aging/wear. Exc. Gary and Dawn Guzzo Collection.
