Item Description
1.25x6.75x10.25" hardcover contains issues #1 (Sept. 1963) through #11 (Dec. 1964). Marvel. Stan Lee stories and art by Jack Kirby and Don Heck. Volume includes the formation of The Avengers (Ant-Man, Wasp, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and Thor), Captain America's first Silver Age appearance, first appearances of Baron Zemo and the Masters of Evil, Kang the Conqueror, Wonder Man and Immortus. Characters featured include Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spider-Man, Sub-Mariner and others. Issues have been trimmed and bound but covers/pages remain bright and clean. Pages have just even aging and some scattered edge wear including a few corner flakes/tears (including Avengers #1, which also has some margin wear and strip of aged clear tape at top edge of cover). VG to VF as bound. Hardcover is from the personal library of award-winning stuntman Scott Leva, who portrayed Peter Parker/Spider-Man on the photo cover of "Amazing Spider-Man" #262.
