3.5x5.5", this 22 card set printed in bw displays a baseball action pose on front along w/team schedule on back. Bottom front text notes "Ladies Free Fridays" as well as directions to the Polo Grounds and an offer to receive a free player picture. The Carl Hubbell card from this series was printed on both thin as well as a thicker card stock, w/the latter being scarcer. This represents one of his earliest baseball card appearances, pre-dating his always popular Goudey issue. Boldly signed just below the image. Hubbell was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1947. PSA/DNA pop report indicates this is the only signed copy from the entire series to ever be graded by PSA and, obviously, also represents the highest graded. A 1 of 1 rarity.
