Item Description
One of the most widely collected baseball card issues of the pre-war era, the 1933 Goudey Gum Co. set consisted of 239 cards, measuring 2-3/8x2-7/8". R319. Fronts feature color art reproductions with short player bios on back. Hubbell was nicknamed "The Meal Ticket" and was a star left-handed pitcher for the New York Giants throughout the 1930s and was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1947. Bold and well placed signature. PSA/DNA pop report indicates that this is the only signed copy at this grade level w/only four graded higher.
