Item Description
The 1951 Bowman set consists of 324 cards and measure 2-1/16x3-1/8". Color image fronts w/bio backs. Ford, nicknamed "Chairman of the Board" was the pitching staff ace for the New York Yankees during the 1950s and 1960s. Ford finished his career w/one of the highest winning percentages in baseball history at .690 and was subsequently elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. Bold and well placed signature. PSA/DNA pop report indicates that only 15 other examples have ever been graded higher.
