Item Description
The most popular vintage baseball card set of the post-war era, the 1952 Topps issue consists of 407 cards, measuring 2-5/8x3-3/4" and was the largest set of its day, both in quantity and card size. Photo front w/stats being included for the first time ever on card backs. Berra was the American League's top catcher throughout the 1950s and a major figure of the New York Yankees dynasty during that time period. Elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972. Bold and well placed signature. PSA/DNA pop report indicates that there have only been six other examples graded at this level w/only 12 others graded higher.
