Item Description
1941 premium from Blue Coal comes w/3x5.5" mailing envelope w/"The Shadow" illustration below D.L. & W. Coal Co. return address and typed recipient name/address. Envelop has large tear to flap as opened w/1" long tear visible on front at top right. VG/Fine. 2.75x4.25" double-sided paper w/detailed instructions for ring while back is an unused order form for additional rings that were available for 10¢ apiece. Both sides feature different Shadow images, front text includes "You Are Now A Member Of The Shadow Stop-Crime Club." Paper slip is unused but show scattered aging/handling wear w/crease as mailed. Fine/VF. Ring is made of luminescent, glow-in-the-dark plastic that still glows brightly after light exposure. Features high relief portraits of The Shadow w/gun drawn as each band, w/"The Shadow - Blue Coal" names around top rim edges, surrounding simulated blue coal lump. Ring is Exc. Robert M.
