Item Description
14x22" cardboard window-card. Promoting a concert in Womelsdorf, PA at Himmelreich's Grove on "Mon. Sep. 4" 1950 featuring country super star Hank Williams. Surface paper lift affecting border and diagonal bends that just break the surface paper at bottom right. Small horizontal margin tear above center along right side, corner rounding and light handling. Pencil notation "1950" at top left on back. Fine. 1950 saw Williams top the country charts three times w/ "Lovesick Blues," "Long Gone Lonesome Blues" and "Why Don't You Love Me." Williams is an immortal figure in the annals of country music and was a major influence on rock 'n' roll and is among the few artists that have been enshrined in both the Country and Rock Hall of Fame.
