Item Description
11.25x16-3/8" artboard has original art by Jim Mooney (1919-2008), best known for his long tenure as the signature artist of Supergirl, as well as a Marvel Comics inker and Spider-Man artist during the period fans and historians call the Silver Age of comic books. Offered here is the original art for page 5 of House Of Mystery #166, published by DC Comics in April 1967. Art was inked by George Roussos (1915-2000). Five panel page is from "The King Of Curses" Dial H For Hero story by Dave Wood and shows Robby Reed as the Yankee Doodle Kid being pursued by Cougar Man. Top margin has inked title, issue/page numbers as well as publication date. Back has preliminary blue pencil sketch of man playing guitar. Art remains clean and Exc.
