Item Description
2.5x3.5". Black and white production proof on white card stock with final color added by hand in colored pencil. Back is blank. Card title is "Dive Bombers Sink Returning Japs." The one-of-a-kind piece is for the classic card set issued 1941-42 featuring 132 cards. It covered current events of the war in a much less gruesome way compared to Horrors Of War, focusing more on the bravery of Allied service men and leaders. Small moisture spot on center plane. Otherwise bright and clean w/vibrant color.
