Item Description
22x28.25" original cardboard Globe Poster for June 10, 1959 concert that took place at the Memorial Auditorium in Chattanooga, TN. Concert was headlined by Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson. Other performers at the concert included Hank Ballard and The Midnighters, Marv Johnson, The Spence Twins, The Falcons, Jessie Belvin, Baby Washington, Sil Austin and His Big Band, Cliff Driver, The Delloes, Hank Moore and His Band and The Pips. Cooke has top-billing and his song "Everybody Likes To Cha Cha" is listed. Wilson receives second billing, w/songs "Lonely Teardrops" and "That Is Why" being listed. Top of poster has "Supersonic Attractions Of '59" text. Poster has lt. aging, handling and edge wear, lower right corner bites, age toning at margins, horizontal white marks around the top of "Wilson" as printed. Fine.
