Item Description
22x28" cardboard window card poster promoting a concert in Chattanooga on April 4, 1960. Features Rev. C.L. Franklin and Aretha, of Detroit, along with Staple Singers of Chicago and Miss Sammie Bryant of Detroit. Horizontal creasing from fold line across the word "Singers". Edge bite upper right edge 1" in length. Minor handling and age wear. Corner bumps upper left and right. VG. Aretha was only 18 at the time of this show touring w/her father on the gospel circuit. Later that year she would sign a deal w/Columbia Records and soon blossom into one of the biggest pop stars of all time.
