Item Description
2.5x3.5" plastic base w/text underneath "Kenner Products Engineering Shop, March 20, 1982 Toy Fair Breakfast" features pair of Micro Collection figurines of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker (Bespin) w/dueling lightsabers. Metal plaque on front w/screen-printed "Kenner, The Force Is With Us In '82'" text. Kenner Toy Fair Engineering Award. This small trophy was presented to the Kenner Employees at the 1982 Toy Fair Breakfast. Made in larger numbers than the wood base version (see following lot). Text in bold sans serif font style. Ironically the Micro Collection was canceled that year due to poor sales. Lt. aging/handling wear. Exc. Rare Kenner item and we are offering both versions in this auction. Tad Moore Collection.
