Item Description
11.5x17.5" artboard has pen and ink original art w/screentone accents for page 65 of Kung Fu Special #1, a comic magazine published by Marvel under their Curtis magazine publishing imprint June 1974. Art is by Mike Vosburg w/inks by Dan Adkins (1937-2013). Art is for Chapter 3 of The Master Plan Of Fu Manchu story, starring Shang-Chi, who appears in seven of eight panels, disguised as robed Si-Fan member in five panels (his face being revealed in last panel). Vosburg has signed last panel in blue ink, adding "'74" date. Top margin has penciled title and "Shang-Chi" notation. Back has Marvel copyright inkstamp as well as second inkstamp at bottom, noting "The Deadly Hands Of King Fu" title w/"Special" inked above it. Back margin has tape staining/residue along entirety. Pin hole/staple holes at top corners. Main art area has evenly aged, but art remains clean and VF/Exc.
