Item Description
11.5x17" DC/Vertigo/WildStorm artboard has pen and ink original art for page 7 of Detective Comics #836, published by DC Comics Nov. 2007. Art is by popular Batman artist Tom Mandrake. Page features five panels, showing Batman and Robin (Tim Drake) keeping watch over Kay Scott, who has been targeted by group of Scarecrows in the second and final part of the Absolute Terror storyline. Batman (or his shadow) are visible in four panels, Robin also appears in four panels. Last panel is great splash panel showing the Dynamic Duo atop a water tower. Of note, page features no captions or word balloons, but still makes for wonderful, silent display. Top margin has inked "Detective" title abbreviation, issue/page number and month of publication as well as Mandrake's name listed as "Penciller" and "Inker". Exc. Comes w/CBCS 9.8 NM/Mint copy of this comic as well as reading copy.
