Item Description
Lot of three nice quality dolls w/movable arms, each approx. 8" to 8.5" tall. Made in Spain in 1938 by De La Riva toy company of Barcelona w/authorization from Walt Disney, as noted on the string tags originally attached to these dolls (not included w/the examples offered here). Made for the Spanish market. Dolls include - Doc, Bashful and Dopey, each w/pressed felt faces and painted facial features, felt outfits and metal belt buckles. Doc has wire glasses. Doc's shorter beard is fabric while Bashful's longer beard is rabbit fur. Dolls are evenly aged and have some small scattered insect holes, most notably to tip of Dopey's nose and at Doc's neck. Fine overall. Rare and first we've offered of any of these dolls.
