Item Description
Die-cut 7x14.5" cardboard features classic image of Superman standing w/hands on hips, used for promotional display purposes. ©1948 National Comic Publications Inc. Scattered fading to red areas, most notable on boots. Heavy creases at one knee and opposite ankle, both w/archival tape repair/reinforcement added on back. Back of head has large aged piece of masking tape w/some tape residue and surface paper lifting. Fine overall, but still very nice for display purposes. Rare and one of the few we've offered in our 58 years (and the first offered in a decade). Danny Fuchs Collection.
