Item Description
21.75" long by 11.75" wide prototype consists of First Shot fuselage w/tail and wings being cast pieces w/non-production tooling. Naboo Fighter comes w/separate missile and features opening cockpit canopy and sliding cockpit bubble w/opening behind it for placement of R2-D2 figure (not included). This First Shot prototype is considerably more detailed than Hasbro's production ship, w/key differences including - lack of battery compartment on underside, opening/closing landing gears w/details on underside of nacelles (those were static, molded pieces w/little detail on production release), the sliding cockpit bubble was changed to a swing hinge and the opening cockpit canopy (and the detail contained within) was removed, the compartment and opening for R2-D2 changed to just a revolving R2 dome for production ships. These were likely cost-related changes. Landing gear on underside of fuselage has been puttied closed and underside shows scattered wear. Cockpit bubble has yellowed w/age. Fine/VF overall.
