16x17" matted mixed media original art for the cover jacket to the novel "Abandonado en Marte" by Lester Del Rey. ©1957 Editorial Acme. Art based on the US version by Paul Orban. Art is unsigned and Argentinian edition does not note cover artist. Mixed media original art is on heavy art paper that has been matted to 11x12" and shows great sci-fi scene w/rocketship about to launch and space men on planetscape in foreground. Beautifully detailed and brilliant colors. Trace aging/wear to image. Margins have some soiling w/small stain and tack hole at upper left. Displays Exc. as matted and ready for framing. Comes w/reading copy of Argentinian edition of book, part of a Robin Hood in Space series.
