Item Description
Complete set of five, each is 1" tin litho. No maker. Each features portrait photo at center w/last name underneath. Set includes National Baseball Hall Of Fame members: Rogers Hornsby, Hack Wilson and Kiki Cuyler as well as Guy Bush and Riggs Stephenson. Rim text notes the ice cream was "Sold At Wrigley Field." A matching and rare 3" team button was also made. The 1929 Cubs won the NL pennant but fell to the Philadelphia A's in the World Series. Scattered small traces of wear, most only seen upon close inspection. All remaining bright, clean and glossy and are exceptional examples for litho buttons. VF to Exc. Rare to find as a full set and the first we've offered in our 58 years.
