Item Description
17.75x21" double mat display contains mixed media original art for proposed 1950 Disney fan card. Art is by Disney artist Hank Porter (1900-1951), who worked on a wide variety of Disney projects, including animated features like Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, comic strips as well as additional promotional material in magazines like Good Housekeeping and work for the US military during World War II. Porter has signed "Walt Disney" name at lower right. Art shows Cinderella in her peasant dress, w/a dozen songbirds flying around fairytale castle birdhouse in flowering tree. Art is Exc. and ready for framing. While an official Cinderella fan card was released in 1950, this design was ultimately not used, making this a nice addition to any Disney fan's collection.
