Item Description
2.5x 3.75". The 1955 Bowman set consists of 320 cards. This was the company's final baseball entry, and each card was styled after a color television set as a boldly colored, horizontally placed player image was surrounded with a faux wood-grained border.

Enos Slaughter, nicknamed "Country", was an American Major League Baseball (MLB) right fielder. He played for 19 seasons on four major league teams from 1938 to 1942 and 1946 to 1959. He is noted primarily for his playing for the St. Louis Cardinals and famously scored the winning run in Game 7 of the 1946 World Series for the Cardinals. Some of his career highlights include being a four time Worlds Series Champion and a ten-time All-Star. He was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1985. The autograph on the card is strong and excellently placed in the center of the card and doesn't impede the image. This signed copy is one of only four examples graded by PSA at this level with only six others ever graded higher.
