Item Description
This superb art from early 2007 is done entirely with graphite pencil on 8.25x8.5" sheet without white margins. The art is based on M.C. Escher's 1956 lithograph Bond of Union. On one level fascinatingly beautiful, but on another profoundly disturbing. Campbell's cover sheet reads in full "Bush-Cheney/State of Union/Escher/Careful Not To Touch Surface. It Has Not Been Sprayed With A Fixative."
