Item Description
1.75" (43mm) white metal with both sides showing a kneeling slave with his wrists chained to his ankles. Struck by "Davis Birm." Both sides include slogan "Am I Not A Man And A Brother." On side with smaller image, rim reads "British & Foreign Anti Slavery Society." On the opposite side below the man's image is "A Voice From Great Britain To America 1834." This side has 7 hairline shallow indents about 3/16" long or less on the field. Overall VF with high luster and a rare medal aimed at the American slavery trade.
