Item Description
16x43.5" (32x43.5" fully opened, as shown in our photo). Designed to be hung on a string so it could be viewed from both sides and each side features different artwork. From 1943 and advertises the series of buttons that were included 1 per package. One side prominently features example buttons from both the insignia and airplane series while the other side features the beanie cap that was available for two box tops and 10¢ (See item #2166). This side also prominently features example buttons shown on and around the beanie as well as around a cereal box. Original fold lines have a number of small tears/splits with clear tape repairs to the blank reverse side. Moderate to heavy scattered dust soiling. Additional scattered handling wear but overall colors remain bright and strong. VG. Rare. This is a file copy from the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
