Item Description
16x43.5" (32x43.5" fully opened, as shown in our photo). Designed to be hung on a string so it could be viewed from both sides. Both sides feature the same design. From 1942 and advertises the series of punch-out plane models that were issued 1 per box (see near set of punch-outs item #2163). Twenty-one different examples are pictured and identified including "Wild Cat, Mosquito, Spitfire, Thunderbolt," etc. Text includes "Be Sure To Build A Complete Fleet." Scattered trace of wear along original fold lines with moderate margin wear including a number of small tears. Appearance remains bright and clean. Still displays Fine. Rare. This is a file copy from the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
