Penciled, inked and written by Gil Kane, co-creator of the Silver Age Green Lantern and Atom. Three-panel art depicts Captain Action's arch nemesis Dr. Evil raving in typical super-villain manner about revenge against Captain Action. Kane took over writing from Jim Shooter for remainder of this short-lived, 5-issue series (see following item #1341). Pen and ink art with a few white correctional fluid touch-ups. For actual printed page, 1.5x4" block was cut from art at lower right-hand corner and replaced with copyright information block. Upon return of the art to Kane, he replaced this missing block with matching art and this is only noticeable when viewed closely. Light wear to margins, not affecting art which remains Exc.
