Item Description
Phoenix Candy Co. Inc. © 1978. Display box is 10x10x3" deep w/nice graphics on all sides. Back panel has retailer's incentive coupon for free display box. Originally contained 24 boxes. Box has slight warp to side panels, scattered color rubs along edges but remains bright and clean, perforated lid has not been separated. Fine. Display box comes w/complete set of eight numbered boxes, each 2.5x5x1" deep. Front panels feature "Now & Later" candy boy and girl, back panels are the numbered Flash Gordon images. Titles are "Flash Gordon, Ming, Zarkov and Flash, Dale and Flash, Count Malo, Flash Fires Ray-Gun, Flash Plans an Expedition, Brukka the Hairy Giant." Four front panels have trace of staining from candy contents (no longer present) but Flash back panels are in no way affected. Boxes still display VF. From the Tomart Archives and comes w/COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
