17.75x19" frame contains professionally double-matted display. 4.5x8.5" opening contains 4x8" Valentine's Day card with art of bow-wearing female Shmoo with hearts about her head. Text above reads "Ah' Always Knew Your' An Old Schmoo-" and has facsimile Al Capp signature at lower left. Second opening measures 4.5x8.5" and has original pen and ink/watercolor illustration with a few colored pencil accents. Art depicts very similar scene as seen on card with slight differences in placement of hearts and shading tones on bow. Two .25" areas of staining with correctional fluid over top them, five 1/8" dots with corrections as well. Art is done by "Li'l Abner" artist Frank Frazetta who has signed his last name in ink at top of art. Frazetta's art was often attributed to "Li'l Abner" creator Al Capp as seen with card. Fine.
