Lot of items for 1939 Muffets cereal premium. Original 7x8.25" envelope includes illustration of rocketship, lists parts and depicts young boy playing with rocket. Reverse includes additional illustration of completed ship plus assembly instructions. Scattered light wear on edges, .25" tear on right. Overall light trace of dust soiling but Fine. Eight-piece art dummy rocketship is comprised of stiff cardboard/stiff paper. VF/Exc. 6.75x10.25" original art prototype envelope. Design is nearly identical to that of finished product. Tempera/India ink art with some black pencil and hand-done text. Main difference is back bottom margin mentions a "Whistling Rocket Ship Club" and enclosed membership card which does not appear on the actual envelope. Light trace of wear, slight scattered dust soiling but VF. Final 3 pieces are all bw photostats of prototype art. Pair of 5x23" photostat strips glued back-to-back, one side is sales promotional piece designed to be issued to store owners to promote premium, counter display, newspaper ads, etc. Reverse is photostat of store display sign picturing rocketship. Second is 7x11.75" with pencil notation at bottom margin "Floor Display Price Card" which also pictures rocketship. Final photostat is 5.5x8.5" comprised of 2 sheets glued back-to-back. One side is pin-up picture of Buck and Wilma while reverse is an additional store sign design picturing ship. All show light aging but overall VF. Nice lot for this classic Buck Rogers premium.
