Item Description
5.75x7.75" waxed paper. Center text reads "Official Mickey Mouse Candy Bar 5¢ Of The Mickey Mouse Safety Club" followed by 1930 copyright of W. W. Shall Co. Ltd. Bottom margin notes Canadian distribution. There are a total of 12 Mickey images, 6 of which are Disney Studio, 6 non-Studio. Two that are Studio done feature classic image of Mickey w/hand raised and text around this "Mickey Mouse Club." The other 4 Studio images are repeated design of Mickey by Iwerks from the Plane Crazy movie poster. Lt. horizontal crease runs across wrapper below center text design. Also has lt. crease along left margin. Pair of pin holes at Mickey image at left center, top center Mickey image has .25" tear w/archival tape repair on reverse. Other lt. handling wear, a few tiny margin tears. Defects are noted for complete accuracy but do not detract from wrapper's overall appearance which remains exceptionally bright and clean. Fine. One of only 3 known, the only other example we've sold in our 42 years realized a price of $2300.
