Item Description
This 1.25” is known as a button listed as Hake #16 with 2004 revised price value of $1,800. This example features the same great design of Miss Liberty and flag below the images which are titled “Two Winners” above. Reverse of this is metal covered with a spring steel clicker that does still produce a clicking sound although not quite as loud as these usually produce. Celluloid surface has wear although vast majority of this is microscopic in nature and in reflected light only a .25” hairline crosses the gold panel at center top. The only other defect showing without magnification is a single very shallow pinpoint mark above the confection box. The piece has deep rich color, nice gloss and perfect centering. Condition is VF although item displays N. Mint. Rare and highly desirable.
