Item Description
9x12”, 4-page folder for “Woody Woodpecker” song that was recorded by Kay Kyser and used in Woody Woodpecker cartoons. 1948 Leeds Music, Ltd. Front cover features rwb illustration of Woody Woodpecker serenading 2 woodpecker girls on tree branch. One of these girls is partially obscured by 3x3-7/8” black felt tip pen sketch of Woody with signature of Walter Lantz beside it. Woody Woodpecker cartoons were produced by the Walter Lantz Animation Studio. Sheet music shows lt. aging with .5x2” and 1x2” areas of staining along spine. Fine/VF. Sketch/signature remain unaffected and display Exc. Comes with Hake’s COA.
