Item Description
18.5” tall (to top of hair) doll, consisting mostly of velveteen body and jacket with tails. c. late 1920s-early 1930s. Cloth-covered buttons and eyes. Painted smile shows obvious cracks. “Hygienic Toys - Made In England By Chad Valley Co. Ltd.” tag underside of foot. Doll has scattered fading to jacket and body/legs. Jointed arms and legs at hips. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
