Item Description
12.25” dia., 4.5” deep glazed ceramic. Unmarked but no doubt English given illustrations of Golliwog and his friends Peg and Sarah Jane on double-decker bus and interacting with English Bobbies/policemen. c. 1920s. Basin has .25x.75” chip to edge lip with 1” hairline crack radiating from this. Scattered hairline crazing. Displays VF with images on inside rim displaying Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
