19x25” frame contains 17x22.75” opening showing supplemental print from Christmas, 1897 issue of “The Queen” publication. Print is titled “Playing At School” from the painting by R. Sauber. Printed by Marlborough Pewtress & Co. Lith. of London. Print depicts young girl schooling her dog as well as 5 dolls, one closest to viewer being Golliwog. Lt. aging around white margins but displays Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
