Item Description
First is 2.25” reading “End The War” and is from the 1990s. Second and third items are each 2.25” and feature the same design with the first reading “Free Alan Gordon.” Button relates to 1997 event at Penn State in State College, Pa. where police arrested him on a misdemeanor for marijuana possession. The second item reads “Free Julian Heicklem.” Button misspells the name of Professor Julian Heicklen who was arrested for smoking a joint during a demonstration outside county court in Bellefonte, Pa. Heicklen held weekly ‘smoke-outs’ at Penn State University’s main gate until his arrest. All 3 are essentially Mint.
