7x9” illustration board has original watercolor illustration of topless showgirl applying her makeup as heavy set man watches from doorway. 7.5x10-1/8” illustration board has original watercolor/acrylic art depicting scantily-clad, bikini-wearing exotic-looking black woman sitting at mirror as heavy set man talks to her. Original art most likely for a c. 1950s men’s magazine. Nicely detailed art. Scattered lt. aging and dust soiling at margins could be easily matted out for a VF/Exc. display. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
