Professionally mounted and framed are two 1.75” dia. bronze inaugural medals showing front and back. 3,500 were made. 4.5x6.5” black and white photo shows FDR shaking hands with Harry Truman as James Roosevelt salutes while wearing military uniform. An embossed presidential seal appears in a 2” dia. opening in the mat below the image. 2” long “James Roosevelt” signature appears in 1.25x5.5” area to bottom right. High quality framing and impressive presentation. Displays Exc. Comes with Hake’s COA. The value of the 2 inaugural medals well exceed the opening bid.
