Item Description
1-5/8” white metal. Obverse has kneeling female slave in chains before full figure female figure representing Justice who holds scales. Text around and below “Am I Not A Woman And A Sister/Let Us Break Their Bands Asunder And Cast Away Their Cords. Psalm II: 3.” Reverse center reads “To The Friends Of Justice, Mercy And Freedom.” This is surrounded by a leaf and flower wreath wrapped in a ribbon with the names “Penn/Granville Sharp/Wilburforce/Benezet/Clarkson/Toussant Louverture/Stephen/D. Barclay.” Very minor general wear but with most luster intact. VF.
