Item Description
1.75x3-1/16” stiff cardboard ticket with a slightly waxed front and back surface. Front is titled “Harrison Jubilee.” Following text is “This Ticket Entitles The Bearer To A Dinner At The Harrison Jubilee At Brattleboro, November, 26th, 1840.” Printed below are a list of six names who compose “Committee Of Arrangements.” Bottom line of text reads “Brattleboro, Nov. 17th, 1840.” Upper right quadrant has pair of light 1” long surface scratches that removed a tiny bit of several letters. Outer edge of the ticket has st. tan coloration. On the reverse is an inked inscription “Geo. Polletcal/164/Madison Street NY City.” Fine and rare. From the Morry Greener Collection.
