c. 1930s through 1950.English. Nine are enamel on brass. Sizes range from 1.25” to 1.5” tall. Two show him in different clothes riding motorcycle. One shows him golfing. C.K. Mahons names on reverse. Six promote “Golden Shred” famous brand of orange marmalade made by James Robertson & Sons and sold in England. Company used Golliwogs in their ads and as their mascot. Images include 2 different with him holding racquet, one as scout, playing guitar, dancing and golfing. 1” litho button has text promoting “Golden Shred.” Pinback has trace of lt. surface wear. Fine/VF. Enamel pins are Exc. Wonderful designs. An instant collection. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
