Item Description
February 23, 1970 printed by Murray Poster Printing Company NYC. Paper one sheet style poster opens to 29.25x44.5" with nice early photo at top of smiling Ellington along with art image of him in later life just below. Event was hosted by Sammy Davis Jr. and list of artists at bottom includes Louis Armstrong, Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, Richie Havens, Stevie Wonder, Roberta Flack, Eubie Blake, and The Duke Ellington Orchestra. Tiny tear at one fold intersection but will mat and frame to bright and VF appearance. Great design.
