Item Description
Four thin art boards, each 19.25x27", each with 16.75x24.75 India ink image area for October 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th 1957. The Lone Ranger is shown in a total of 25 panels, on Silver in several and Tonto is shown in 11 panels. Storyline has Lone Ranger and Tonto chasing bank robbers and learning that bank owner's son was involved in bank robbery. Last three Sundays are signed in ink in bottom panel by long time Lone Ranger comic strip artist Charles Flanders. Each page has original photostat title glued in place in panel one and all four have attached. ©1957 The Lone Ranger Inc. King Feature Syndicate stickers. Title stats are tanned from glue, each page has lt. vertical fold through center as mailed by artist to syndicate for printing. October 13th page has bit of missing text in last panel and panel three of Oct. 20 and Oct. 27 pages are yellowed a bit. Oct. 27 page also has a few glue stains in bottom right areas. Overall Fine/VF. Nice examples of Flander's Lone Ranger art.
