5.5x7" four page scorecard for game held at Dayton Ducks Park on September 23. Homestead Grays’ starting lineup included: Whatley, Benjamin, Leonard, Gibson, Gaston, Esterling, Bankhead, Harris, Carlisle, and Williams. N. Y. Black Yankees starting lineup included: Green, Williams, Ford, Bennett, Johnson, Wilson, Hayes, Gray, and Whitney. Front cover has text at bottom “Compliments Of Jesse Haines Former St. Louis Cardinals Pitcher” with his photo on back in uniform. Text at bottom includes “He Kept His Promise To The Colored People!” and text on inside noting “Haynes Is Running For Second Term On The Republican Ticket As County Auditor”. Score card has lt. aging with lt. horizontal handling crease through center and original owner’s name in ink at top seam area. Unused and Fine.
