Item Description
Made by Wilson titled "Professional Cap" on inside label. Underside of brim is marked "RIP" in black ink. Rapulski only played with the Rochester Red Wings during the 1952 season. He went on to play professionally for nine seasons with a career batting average of .269 with 106 home runs and 416 RBI's in 928 games played. He played with the St. Louis Cardinals from 1953-1956, Philadelphia Phillies from 1957-1958, LA Dodgers in 1959, Boston Red Sox in 1960, LA Dodgers in 1960, and ended his career in 1961 with the Boston Red Sox. Button on top is a bit stained, inside of cap has a few moisture marks and bit of wear on inside top. VF appearance. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
